Dear Family,

Another anniversary. Well, three: The U.S.A’s 4th of July and the 20th, Colombian. Independence celebrations, 249 and 215 years, respectively, which compared to the first (May 5th) of having declared mine (ours) of the Ego (old Blogs from last year, partially cited below), seems to make no sense.

I start this blog today, May 5th, a party ‘created’ by Corona (the Mexican brand) with the Pretext of the Battle of Puebla and the Independence of Mexico. (the fact that it is not celebrated in Mexico, matters little as long as its objective is achieved, to sell beer in the United States)

May it also be an opportunity to “talk” again. Already on the 4th of July last I broke a prolonged silence, to begin my Testimonies. It seems that these Independence festivities motivate me to wake up from my lethargy and declare ours of the Ego (mine and boldly, yours).

Like any Declaration of Independence, it is one thing to manifest it and another to achieve it; for which, a battle is needed. But unlike the ‘traditional’ ones, here the battle is not one of War but of Peace and is not fought on the outside, sacrificing others as cannon fodder, but inside each one and without any sacrifice. The goal? Our Salvation (and that of humanity!) Interested? So patience with my gibberish,it may be a little longer than I have been used to.

So I promised to start a new blog with its own website, to allow free access to everyone who wanted to. But as I explained in my most recent message, apparently the designs of “the invisible hand” are different.

Dear Family,

As I have already told you, I think that this new blog should concentrate on the chronological review of my journey, marked by the interventions of the invisible hand. Therefore, I must now continue with the coincidences that I have detected have been determining the evolution of my current earthly life.

The blank page

I am assailed again by this idea that I start with a plan in my head (brain) and often end up with an unexpected result. I have accepted this as part of my belief in the invisible hand. But today I realized that I am in error, not in the hand, but in the blank page.

My brain thinks that like in my student days, I have to fill a physical page with writing characters to complete an exam or produce an essay, turning to my brain memory as a source of information. The first reality is that, thanks to technological advances, the physical page is no longer needed, but the second is that I am not actually ‘writing’ from my memory but trying to communicate thoughts and this is definitely different.

I remember in my university years having ‘discovered’ James Joyce. This Irish author, a true giant, faced the same problem when writing his Ulysses and his solution was to “create” three characters, Leopold Bloom, his wife Molly and Stephen Daedalus, three completely ordinary people, just like any of us, and relate to us the events of the same day in their lives, (June 16, 1904), by transcribing their chains of thoughts, as it is, without punctuation or separation in an endless succession of ideas.

Joyce’s gigantism consists in the fact that he took the trouble not only to ‘think’ for his characters but also assimilated them to those of Homer’s Odyssey (Odysseus-Ulysses in the Latin version – his wife Penelope and Telemachus, their son). The effort took him more than 7 years, but he produced a book of fiction (he only relates thoughts), which allowed him to express his real opinions on politics, monarchy, English royal family and above all sexuality, ‘with impunity’. Well, the punishment was to ban the book as pornographic. Like all ‘forced’ prohibitions, it immediately made it desirable and famous. (If you don’t believe me, look at all of them, such as: liquor, drugs, prices, diets, abortion, and all the commandments of “no”-that is, the last five-, carrying weapons, wars, etc.). For prohibitions to work they have to be ‘free’, that is, freely accepted by our mind.

Going back to Joyce and his Ulysses, this is called the stream-of-consciousness technique and although he is not the first to use it, he is the one who popularized it. But the reading is very heavy and in the end it is the reader forced to choose the punctuation to concretize the ideas. In essence, the author ‘presents’ a list of his ideas and the reader has to manage as best he can and even determine where one ends and another begins. That is, a strictly personal interpretation.

(So much for what was “thought” by the end of last September)

Here is a small testimony of my ‘salvation’ from drug use. Back in the 60’s when marijuana began to become popular, I learned through a university classmate whose family belonged to the high social circles in Bogotá, the ‘case’ of two of these families. A teenager from one courted an adolescent from the other; On a ‘visit’, the boy, under the influence, ended up killing the girl’s grandmother, who acted as a chaperone. By mutual agreement between the two families, everything was kept secret and outside the inner circle no one knew what happened. I only found out about the fact but never about the names. However, my trust in my friend has never allowed me to doubt the authenticity of the story. Unlike cigarettes and to a certain degree alcohol, of which I was an easy victim in the 50’s, it has never even occurred to me to try psychedelics. If they cause this loss of consciousness, I’m just not interested in them. As for cigarettes (I quit completely) and alcohol (strictly social consumption) it has been my conscious will that has determined their control, without the need for any additional treatment. And while we’re on the subject of these confessions, let me add the real reason for my enthusiasm for Ulysses, no, it wasn’t literary technique as I might now presume, it was pornography, especially that of Molly Bloom, fortunately also under control without having reached the degeneration of an Epstein or a Diddy (and their “frightened friends”). I don’t judge, I just give thanks!

And now I must review the review of my journey. Beyond that of the personal interpretation, I can intuit what follows.

This same flow technique is similar to that used for the writing (dictation?) of the Course, although here the ideas are duly separated, but they are strictly thoughts, although cataloguing them as fiction is extremely dubious. And kept in proportions, the Law is also a flow of thoughts and here we cannot think of fiction. So when structuring the Exercises, Apprentice, and Law sections, thoughts are already ‘thought’ by their authors (physical and metaphysical) and even their order is already numbered, especially in the Course.

My task as a messenger is limited only to trying to ‘narrate’ those thoughts (what I have called, my gibberish) but without replacing them. It is not about being original, just about trying to remember the Original (I call Him God) and remember how He has guided me, through some Testimonies (these do are of a personal nature and sometimes original). It is not even remotely the giant feat of rethinking the Odyssey and compressing it to just 24 hours of a ‘modern’ day, but I must be cautious about this narrative.

Another small testimony. Years ago in Neiva, one of the beautiful and not overly populated departmental capitals of Colombia, a very prominent politician died whose funeral demanded national coverage and one of the radio networks had to assign its sports announcers to help cover the news. I remember that one of them expressed his displeasure on air with an interviewee who was very unwilling to collaborate, claiming that it was not the right time for an interview. I realized the danger of translations. The journalist’s usual program, very popular by the way, was called The Owners of the Ball and obviously he assimilated it to The Owners of the “Bier”, thinking that it was the ‘obligation’ of the interviewees to collaborate with the show. Fortunately, I have the advice and guidance of the Holy Spirit for my translations, especially those from ‘physical to metaphysical’. Those from one language to another are rather a welcome tool that forces me to think in order to try to understand.

Then the new structure will consist of simply using my gibberosh to highlight the thoughts of the ‘lessons’ they touch on and to recognize those personal experiences that can become ‘testimonies’ that can serve as catalysts in the development of the evolution of our system of thinking. I hope it is clear that the message is found only in the textbooks, the Course, and the Law, which I am definitely convinced are part of the Original Thought. My Blog is just a tool that I hope can be useful to facilitate its dissemination and learning.

Of the Exercises

I have purposely refrained from bringing verbatim quotations from this manual. Its usefulness is not to read it, but to practice it. My personal experience includes a first reading (ten to twenty days per day of reading). A first year of practice, during which I found peace (which was the main incentive to start this Blog). In the second year of practice, combined with the first year of the Teacher’s Manual, I have already completed more than three months and have experienced unexpected spiritual breakthroughs. That is why I insist on encouraging you to practice it.

It is possible that you here can be encouraged to explore it a little. Just open the Workbook for Students in https://acim.org / and on the left side of the screen, just below Introduction/Part I, you can click open the Lessons sections and you will see the daily ideas. You will notice that they are very simple and also that the practice is very flexible and easy to adopt. If any of the ideas catch your attention, you can see it in its entirety just by typing its number in the box above.

Easy, but a word of warning, this is no substitute for daily, orderly practice of lessons. It’s not just the idea, it’s the system that counts, Just reading the content can tell you the system: doubt, undo, delete, replace repeat. As I clarified from the beginning, it is brainwashing. And it is about changing the way of thinking.

From the apprentice

We have to digest Lesson 5 that talks about Healing. This is no more and no less than the theme that dominates the purpose of the Course. (Curiously, today we will also see that the same thing happens with the Law). I emphasize again that the message is received when reading from the study texts, I have limited myself to copying this lesson and revising its translation into Spanish. In this Annex:

I have highlighted in bold some parts of the text that seem important to me, but it is you who make your own analysis and decide how to understand the message. For me it is about emphasizing that true life, that of the Son that God created, is metaphysical and eternal, it is not that of the mortal and physical body. And when I remember God and that it was He who created me, I am healed. Healing is simple, universal and within the reach of all disciplined minds, but it is individual.

Of the Law

As I participated in the previous Blog, I advance in my fifth reading and new perceptions abound to the point that you will soon see a new way of communicating my progress. For now, and continuing with the previously prepared material, I want to highlight today more than a similarity, an identification between the Course and the Law: both have a primary purpose, “Healing”. This is apparent and even obvious in the Course, but in the Law? Practically at the beginning, when Ra reports of his wanderings in Egypt, eleven thousand years ago he tells us (Sessions 2.2):

We came and were welcomed by the peoples whom we wished to serve. We attempted to aid them in technical ways having to do with the healing of mind/body/spirit-complex distortions through the use of the crystal, appropriate to the distortion, placed within a certain appropriate series of ratios of time/space material. Thus were the pyramids created.

This information eventually led, in Sessions 5 and 6, to the acceptance and commitment of Don Elkins, the Interrogator, to train as a Healer, as well as Ra’s to be his teacher. So this is the main objective of all the teachings of the Law and I consider this so important that I attach here the pertinent texts of the Sessions already mentioned.

I have highlighted some important ideas and included a few parentheses that I consider to be clarifying. My main purpose is to show those encouraged to practice the Course, how the same ideas are constantly repeated in the Law as well. The ‘coincidences’, as I never tire of repeating, are not chepazos (Colombianism for good luck), nor lotteries. Nor Miracles.

To me it is simply the revelation that our original creation is metaphysical and the physical body was eventually designed and produced as a temporary vehicle in which to perform some experiments. The knowledge of this revelation was hidden from us when it was decided that a Veil should be imposed on the spirit incarnating in third density.

However, the Law, being much broader and more specific than the Course, allows us to see how that simplicity has become more and more complex with the evolution of Creation. But oh coincidence of all coincidences (or conundrum of all conundrums), that evolution is precisely part of the Original Thought!

And this last paragraph is already part and is a synthesis of my Fourth Epiphany, confirmed on July 22, so I better leave the additional comments for the next Blog, along with the corresponding explanation; meanwhile, I confirm my Unconditional Love,
